(Chicago, IL) — The Cubs are inching closer to the NL Central title. Kris Bryant homered, and Anthony Rizzo and Albert Almora Jr. drove in two runs each, as they beat the Cardinals 8-4 at Wrigley Field. Chicago’s magic number to clinch the division is two. Kyle Hendricks pitched eight innings of two-run ball as the Cubs won their third in-a-row. Adam Wainwright struck out seven, but allowed four runs in five frames to take the loss. Marcell Ozuna went 2-for-4 with an RBI for St. Louis, which lost its fourth straight.
