The Illinois Department of Transportation is using rest areas to show what can happen if people make bad choices when they are driving. Vehicles from fatal crashes in Illinois will be stationed at 14 rest stops around the state, with signs detailing the consequences of speeding and distracted and drunk driving says I-DOT spokesperson Guy Tridgell.
Last year, more than one thousand people died on Illinois roads.
