Illinois Comptroller Susana Mendoza has been making her way downstate and made a stop in Vandalia last week to help promote Illinois’ Bicentennial. During her stop, centered around promoting the Vandalia Statehouse and its important state history, Mendoza said while she travels, it gives her a chance to connect with people and hear how they have been affected by what comes out of the Capitol.
What Mendoza says eh enjoys most is being able to see many beautiful places across the state and so many towns and cities such as Vandalia that have so much to offer and the potential to continue to grow.
Along with video shot at the Vandalia Statehouse, Mendoza also made a few other stops to make videos to help highlight important pieces of Illinois history and to promote Illinois’ Bicentennial.
