(Marion, IL) — Voters in one southern Illinois county won’t see a question about gun laws and individual freedoms this fall. Williamson County leaders allowed their gun sanctuary ballot question to die on Friday. The county board agreed in June to put the question on the ballot, but they pulled it after one commissioner called the question a political stunt.
