(Marion, IL) — Voters in one southern Illinois county won’t get to declare themselves a sanctuary for guns. The Williamson County Board last night decided not to place a question on the November ballot expressing their resistance to any gun control measures from state lawmakers in Springfield. Commissioners Brent Genrty said the problem is that the question contained the word ‘any,’ and he thought that went too far.
