(Philadelphia, PA) — Yadier Molina belted a pair of home runs, but it wasn’t enough as the Cardinals lost 4-3 at Philadelphia. A solo homer by Odubel Herrera in the seventh inning lifted the Phillies to victory. Sam Tuivailala served up the homer and took the loss as St. Louis dropped two-of-three.

He left his start against the Phillies yesterday in the fourth inning and is scheduled to have an MRI today. Wacha gave up six hits and three runs, but just one earned, in three-and-two-thirds innings in a no-decision.

(Chicago, IL) — Jon Lester allowed five hits over seven shutout innings as the Cubs blanked the Dodgers 4-0 at Wrigley Field. Kyle Schwarber homered and Javier Baez had three hits and scored twice. The Cubs are 42-and-29, percentage points ahead of the Brewers in the NL Central. They play at Cincinnati tonight.
