(Philadelphia, PA) — Yadier Molina belted a pair of home runs, but it wasn’t enough as the Cardinals lost 4-3 at Philadelphia. A solo homer by Odubel Herrera in the seventh inning lifted the Phillies to victory. Sam Tuivailala served up the homer and took the loss as St. Louis dropped two-of-three.

He left his start against the Phillies yesterday in the fourth inning and is scheduled to have an MRI today. (Chicago, IL) — Jon Lester allowed five hits over seven shutout innings as the Cubs blanked the Dodgers 4-0 at Wrigley Field. Kyle Schwarber homered and Javier Baez had three hits and scored twice. The Cubs are 42-and-29, percentage points ahead of the Brewers in the NL Central. They play at Cincinnati tonight.
