(St. Louis, MO) — Kris Bryant homered and drove in four runs as the Cubs clobbered the Cardinals 13-5 in St. Louis. Bryant snapped a 24-game homerless streak. Ian Happ and Kyle Schwarber also went deep in the winning effort. Jon Lester tossed six innings of two run ball to pick up the win. Chicago snapped a two-game slide and improved to 39-and-27 overall. Cardinals’ starter Michael Wacha gave up nine runs across four frames to take the loss. St. Louis is on a three-game slide.
