(Moline, IL) — Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner is getting a lot of miles out of the new state budget. The governor stopped in the Quad Cities yesterday to talk about the state’s new 38-and-a-half billion-dollar spending plan. Rauner says the biggest accomplishment is that the state will pay its bills this year. The second biggest achievement in the budget is the 25 million-dollars in new money that will be invested into MAP grants for college students.
