(Moline, IL) — Moline High School’s principal says students did the right thing when they told teachers about a student who had a pellet gun at school. Principal Dan McGuire says students saw a picture of the pellet gun online yesterday, and went straight to school officials. McGuire says he placed the school on lockdown about 12:40 yesterday afternoon, but students stayed in class. Police say they ‘got’ the student and the gun yesterday, but they’re not releasing the student’s name.
