The Kaskaskia College board made it official at a special meeting on Tuesday night. By a 7 to 0 vote, the KC Board named George Evans as the 11th President of Kaskaskia College. Evans, who has served as the interim President since November, signed a 3 year contract to continue to guide K-C. Evans had served as the College’s Dean of Career and Technical Education for 7 years prior to assuming the Presidency. Evans is also the first graduate of Kaskaskia College to be named the College’s President. Evans is also a graduate of SIU-E and Webster University and holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations. Evans lives in Albers with his wife Jessica and their twin children, Quinnley Jean and George Tuck.
