(St. Louis, MO) — Yairo Munoz hit a three-run homer to cap a five-run bottom of the ninth as the Cardinals rallied past the Pirates 10-8 at Busch Stadium. Luke Voit’s two-run, pinch-hit single got St. Louis to within one after Pittsburgh scored four in the eighth to take an 8-5 lead. Munoz finished with five RBI.

(St. Louis, MO) — Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina is expected to begin a rehab stint with Double-A Springfield tomorrow. He caught a bullpen session by Luke Weaver yesterday and made throws to second base from behind the plate. Molina’s been out since taking a foul ball to the groin May 5th.

(Flushing, NY) — Jose Quintana and four relievers combined on a four-hitter as the Cubs beat the Mets 5-1 at Citi Field. Quintana allowed three hits over six shutout frames for his sixth win. Ben Zobrist went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer for Chicago, which has won four-of-five. The four-game series continues tonight.
