The Fayette County Board hired a new person to take care of its IT needs in the county. At its Thursday night, the board approved an agreement with Nathan Dothager of Dothager Independent IT Consulting of Effingham. The board also approved the purchase of a 2014 Dodge Charger vehicle from the Missouri Highway Patrol at a cost of $12,900 with $10,000 of the total coming from the Police Vehicle Fund and the remaining $2,900 coming from the DUI Fund.
In other business, the county board approved three appointments. Andrew Drewes was reappointed to a three-year term as trustee of the St. Peter Fire Protection District while Larry Sporleder was reappointed to a three-year term as trustee for the Farina Fire Protection District. Dr. Michael Darmadi was appointed to serve as Director of the Fayette County Hospital Board for a three-year term.
Also at the meeting, the board approved salary schedules, a bid from Depew & Owen Builders for a bridge replacement in Wheatland Township.
