Four Vandalia High School athletes will be competing at the Illinois Top Times Indoor Championships today at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington. Athletes competing must have turn in a top 12, 16, 22 or 24 performance depending on the respective event during the indoor season to qualify for the meet. Senior Dylan Garrett will compete in the 200m Dash after having a qualifying time of 23.95 seconds. Junior Devon Little will compete in the 60m Hurdles after turning in a qualifying time of 9.01 seconds. Junior Zane Steele and Sophomore Cameron Withers will both compete in the Pole Vault with Steele reaching a qualifying height of 14’ and Withers reaching a qualifying height of 12’ 6″. The meet will also serve as major exposure for the athletes as over 190 collegiate coaches from across the nation will be in attendance.
