(Chicago, IL) — Two wealthy businessmen will do battle this fall in the Illinois governor’s race. J.B. Pritzker spoke to his supporters last night after winning the Democratic nomination.
Overall, Pritzker took better than 45 percent of the vote, to easily defeat his closest two in the race, Daniel Biss and Chris Kennedy. Pritzker took better than 53% of the vote in Fayette County. Pritzker will face off against Republican Governor Bruce Rauner in November.
