Two Decatur individuals were arrested on multiple charges on Tuesday, after they allegedly sped thru the School Zone in Ramsey. In a Facebook post, Fayette County Sheriff Chris Smith says the two individuals were allegedly traveling 60 miles per hour on U.S. Route 51 thru the crosswalk at 6th Street in Ramsey. The two individuals that were arrested were 24 year old Jacory A. Walker and 25 year old Brandon D. Perkins, both of Decatur. Walker was arrested on pending charges of Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Possession of Stolen Property, Reckless Driving, No Insurance and FOID Card Revoked. Perkins was arrested on pending charges of Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Theft and No FOID Card. Both individuals remain in the Fayette County Jail. Sheriff Chris Smith added in his Facebook post that he tries to work the County’s School Zones when possible.
