Voters may be asked if they support legalizing recreational marijuana when they head to the polls in November. Legislation advanced by a Senate Committee creates a voter referendum on whether marijuana should be taxed, regulated and allowed for use by those 21 and over. State Senator Bill Cunningham says it’s a good idea to see how Illinoisans feel about the idea.
