Clarence “Hal” R. Halbrook, 65, of Highland, Illinois, formerly of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018, in Highland, IL.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, with Rev. Joe Lawson, officiating. Friends and family may gather at the cemetery a few minutes before the service. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements. He was born September 7, 1952, the son of Merle Artley & Jessie Mae (Jones) Halbrook. He was a graduate of Vandalia Community High School and worked as a Handyman. Hal was a US Air Force Veteran; member of Temperance Lodge # 16, A.F. & A.M. Vandalia; and was a very religious man.
He is survived by: Son – Anthony “Tony” Halbrook & Stacy, Trenton, IL; 1 Granddaughter – Lauren Rachel Halbrook; and many Cousins.
Preceded in death by: Parents; and Sister – Norma Jean Halbrook.
