After dropping down in the single digits in some spots overnight, we are looking at a pretty cold Groundhog Day around the area. We’ll see sunny skies today with a high of 26 and then mostly cloudy skies tonight with a low of 21. We’ll warm up a bit on Saturday when we’ll see a high a high of 43 with mostly cloudy skies. There’s a chance of some rain and snow on Saturday night and into Sunday, with a high of 38 on Sunday.
Meanwhile, there is a chance we could a significant snow for the area from Monday night thru Tuesday night. Snow is likely for Tuesday night, with rain and snow a possibility for Monday night and into Tuesday. Some weather forecasts are showing snowfall of better than 3 inches for Tuesday night. The situation should become more clear in the next couple of days.
