(Springfield, IL) — All eyes will be on the Illinois Capitol at lunchtime. Governor Bruce Rauner is set to deliver his State of the State speech today. Lawmakers say they expect to hear some broad goals for the new year at the statehouse and a renewed focus on paying for public schools in the state. But lawmakers say they don’t expect the governor to get too deep into the details of his new budget. We plan to have the broadcast of the state of the state address today at noon on AM 1500/104.7 FM WPMB.
