We are looking at a bitterly cold holiday weekend around the area. We’ll see a bit warmer conditions today with cloudy skies and a high of 24. We do have a chance of snow flurries during the day. Tonight we have a chance at some light snow or maybe even from freezing drizzle before midnight with a low of 16.
Then, we begin to get back into the deep freeze. We’ll see mostly cloudy skies on Saturday and we’ll see falling temperatures during the day with temps falls to around 10 by 5 pm. Then, Saturday night we’ll see a low of 2 with wind chill values as low as -10. Sunday it will be partly cloudy and cold with a high of just 12. We’ll see a low on Sunday night of -1 and a low on Monday night of -4. The high on New Years Day is only expected to reach 9.
