(Chicago, IL) — The sexual harassment case that effectively ended Dan Rutherford’s political career in Illinois is going away. Both sides in the case yesterday agreed to dismiss the claim from a former Illinois Treasurer employee who said Rutherford harassed him. The man, Edmund Michalowski, can re-file the case. This is the second dismissal in the case, a judge back in early 2016 tossed a racketeering claim brought by Michalowski, saying there was no evidence in that case either.
