Governor Bruce Rauner is signing a pair of sexual harassment laws in hopes of improving the climate at the State Capitol. One of the laws lets the new legislative Inspector General look into old claims of harassment that have sat untouched the past couple of years. Moving forward, Governor Rauner wants to see more changes.
The other measure requires lawmakers, staffers and lobbyists to undergo sexual harassment training and sets up a hotline for victims to report cases of harassment.
