After several months of being one member short, the Fayette County Board will officially be a full 14 members again at next month’s meeting following the appointment of a new board member. The seat filled has been vacant for several months following the resignation of board member Troy Patillo of St. Elmo. By a unanimous 11-0 vote, with two board members not present at the meeting, Glenda J. Bartels will fill the vacancy left by Patillo.
In other business, the county approved its renewal of Illinois Counties Risk Management Trust Property, Casualty and Workman’s Comp for 2018 and also approved participation in the ICRMT Unemployment Insurance Program. A resolution approving an agreement for Inmate Health Care Services at the Fayette County Jail was also approved.
