Brownstown Elementary School Students are looking to collect items to donate in honor of a fellow BES student who is battling cancer. The student battling cancer is 2nd grade student Tresten Wall and he is currently undergoing treatments. BES 4th grade student Emalee Smith, along with the help of teachers, parents and adults, is looking to collect supply for the chemotherapy department at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis. The supplies that are needed are:
bags of suckers, packages of gum (fruit or cinnamon flavored), pocket packages of Kleenex, pocket hand sanitizers, small craft kits, small packages of Legos, small containers of Play Doh, and cards games (Uno or Phase 10).
They will be collecting the items thru Wednesday, November 15th. You can bring the donations to Brownstown Elementary School or you can also call 322-5027 to arrange pick up of items.
