The Fayette County Emergency Management Agency recently received a large donation from Dakota Access Pipeline. Dakota Access made 12 donations of $20,000 each to counties that the pipeline runs through in Illinois. Fayette County EMA Director Kendra Craig and Kylie Depew were on hand for the check presentation held November 2 at Lincoln Land Community College’s Litchfield campus. Craig says the donation to Fayette County will allow them to purchase new equipment and also for training for the county’s Dive Team, Search and Rescue team and Communication Team. In total, Dakota Access Pipeline has now donated $1 million to counties in Illinois, North Dakota and South Dakota through which the pipeline passes.
