House Speaker Michael Madigan is pushing a bill to require sexual harassment training at the state capital. A legislative committee passed the legislation, which requires lawmakers, staff, lobbyists and state employees to complete annual sexual harassment training says Speaker Madigan.
A vote on the bill is expected next week during the Fall Veto Session. Speaker Madigan is putting together a task force to look further into sexual discrimination and harassment in state government.
