(St. Louis, MO) — The Cardinals rallied from six-runs down to clip the Brewers 7-6 in St. Louis. Trailing 6-0 in the third, Paul DeJong and Jose Martinez cut into the lead with a pair of two-run doubles. Stephen Piscotty tied the game in the eighth with a two-run single and then scored the game-winning run on a Harrison Bader base hit. Ryan Sherriff picked up the win in relief and Juan Nicasio locked down the save. Milwaukee reliever Anthony Swarzak surrendered two runs in less than an inning of work to take the loss. Domingo Santana hit his 30th home run of the year for the Brew Crew. The loss eliminates the Brewers from postseason contention.
