With the official start of school now less than a few weeks away, registration time for school districts in the area is getting underway.
For the Vandalia School District, registration is today from 10am to 6pm in the Junior High gym. Online registration is currently open. Anyone needing assistance with online registration may call the high school office at 283-5155. Also during registration, high school students may pick up their Chromebooks from the high school library from 10am-6pm. To pick up a Chromebook, the $100 technology fee must be paid first. For those high school students choosing to not pick up their Chromebooks today, they will then receive them on August 17 or August 18 on the first or second day of school. 7th and 8th grade students will receive their Chromebooks on August 22.
St. Elmo will be holding registration tomorrow, August 3, and Thursday, August 4 from 10am to 6pm both days at both the Elementary and Jr./Sr. High School Buildings. Registration packets for Jr./Sr. high school students may be picked up all week in the high school office from 7am-3pm.
For Brownstown, registration will be held on August 8 from 8am to 6pm in the district cafeteria.
And, Ramsey will have registration on August 8 from 9am to 2pm and on August 9 from 2pm to 6pm.
South Central will be holding school registration on Monday, August 14 from 11am-7pm and on Tuesday, August 15 from 9am-12pm at South Central Middle School both days for all grades, Pre-K through 12th grade.
