(St. Louis, MO) — Blues defenseman Colton Parayko is filing for salary arbitration. He made the move before yesterday’s player-elected deadline. If he had not, the Blues would have had until today to file. With Parayko filing instead, the Blues now get to pick a one or two-year contract term. The 24-year-old had four goals and 31 assists for St. Louis last season.

(St. Louis, MO) — The Blues have first-round draft pick Klim Kostin in the fold. The 18-year-old Russian forward has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the club. Kostin was drafted with the last pick of the first round and will be eligible to play in the AHL this season as a foreign player. He had been with the Moscow Dynamo in Russia’s Kontinental Hockey League.
