(St. Louis, MO) — Yadier Molina went 2-for-4 with four RBI as the Cardinals knocked off the Nationals 8-1 at Busch Stadium. Paul DeJong added a two-run homer for St. Louis, which has won three in-a-row and five of its last six games. Mike Leake allowed just five hits and one run in eight innings to even his record at 6-and-6. Tanner Roark took the loss to drop to 6-and-6. Jacob Turner allowed five runs in relief for Washington, which has lost four of its last six. The Nationals plated their lone run on Daniel Murphy’s double-play ball in the fourth.
