(Chicago, IL) — It looks like the plan to sell state government’s headquarters in Chicago is dead. “The Chicago Sun Times” yesterday reported that Governor Rauner’s office isn’t moving forward with plans to sell the Thompson Center because of the on-going spat with Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Rauner wants to sell the aging building, but wants to keep the money for the state. Some Chicago lawmakers want money from the sale to end-up with the city.
