(Chicago, IL) — The top Democrat in the Illinois Senate says he won’t support anything short of a full state budget. Senate President John Cullerton yesterday told “The Daily Herald” that he can’t support another stopgap spending plan to get the state through the next six months or so. Governor Bruce Rauner yesterday ordered a special session for next week to talk about a state budget.
