The Vandalia High School girls and boys track teams held their end of season awards celebration on Sunday night.
For the girls team, senior Anna Miller was named the team’s Most Outstanding Performer and also earned the award for Highest Points in Track Events. Sophomore Emma Warner earned the award for Highest Points in Field Events and Junior Karsyn Garrison was named the Most Improved Performer. Senior Madison Klanke and junior Olivia Marquardt were both named as recipients of the Vandal Award as chosen by their peers for their hard work and great attitudes during the season.
For the boys team, sophomore Trevor Smalls was named as the team’s Most Outstanding Performer, Devon Little earned the award for Highest Points in Track Events and Zane Steele earned the award for Highest Points in Field Events. Senior Justin Doolin was named as the team’s Most Improved Performer and freshman Nick Mason was the recipient of the Vandal Award.
