We are now less than a month away from the return of the Grande Levee to the Vandalia Statehouse. After a few years of being held in the fall, and then not being held at all, the Grande Levee returns this year to Father’s Day weekend. David Zimmerman was a guest on the Morning Cafe with Dan Michel this past week and talks a little about the history of Grande Levees in general.
There will be activities on Friday evening, June 16th, including the return of the Old Fashioned Ham and Bean Dinner from 5 pm to 7 pm. And, then there is a full day of events scheduled for Saturday, June 17th. We’ll hear more from Zimmerman coming up tomorrow during NewsCenter.
