(Springfield, IL) — Legislation before the House and Senate recommends programs to erase juvenile records. It would also make it tougher to get those records. The act would automatically erase records of juvenile arrests when there is no finding of delinquency. The bill would mean that applicants would not have to release an expunged juvenile record.
