Two California women are headed to the Department of Corrections after entering guilty pleas on Monday in Fayette County Court. 18 year old Joana Rebollar-Limon and 20 year old Christina Phaviseth, both of California, both plead guilty to the charge of Unlawful Possession of Cannabis and were sentenced by Judge Don Sheafor to 72 months in prison. Both were arrested by Vandalia Police back on January 31st of possession of 64 pounds of marijuana that they were allegedly transporting thru the area. On that date, Police were called to the Economy Inn at 1500 North 6th Street for a disturbance and that was when the marijuana was discovered. The two women were said to be traveling at the time from California to Ohio.
