A warrant has been issued for a 47-year old man charged with Aggravated DUI in the death of a Brownstown man in January of this year. During an appearance in Fayette County Court on Thursday, Appellate Prosecutor Matt Goetten gave Judge Don Sheafor probable cause in the matter in which Joseph D. Beshel is alleged to have had a blood alcohol level over the legal limit as well as THC in his system on the night of January 19th when his vehicle struck the front part of a vehicle driven by 47-year old Scott White of Brownstown as he was attempting to turn left into his driveway off of Route 40 west of Brownstown. White was later pronounced dead at Fayette County Hospital by Coroner Bruce Bowen. Upon hearing probable cause, Judge Sheafor announced that the court did find cause for a warrant to be issued. Bond for Beshel is set at $75,000.
Meanwhile, Beshel turned himself in to the Fayette County Jail. He was transferred and is currently being at the Bond County Jail.
