Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 5, 2017, at First Baptist Church, Ramsey, IL, with Rev. Joe Lawson, officiating. Burial will follow at Ramsey Cemetery, Ramsey, IL, with Military Rites. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 5, 2017, at the church. He was born October 31, 1942, in Vandalia, IL, the son of John Rufus & Erma Lovetta (Lippert) Warner. Married Shirley Mae Burke on May 11, 1968, Assumption, IL. He was a retired Electrician from Crane Packing, Vandalia, IL; Farmer; US Army Veteran; Member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and American Legion Post #95, both of Vandalia, IL.
He is survived by: Wife – Shirley Warner, Vandalia, IL; Son – Scott Warner & Michelle, Shobonier, IL; Daughters – Stephanie Carruthers & Steve, Bingham, IL; Sue Warner and Sandy Warner, both of Vandalia; Grandchildren – Cassandra & Kal Cook, Ashley & Isaiah Miller, Ryan & Whitney Carruthers, Tyler and Seth Carruthers, Trevor Harre & friend Autumn, Haley Warner & friend Kain, and Gabrielle Harre, Cody, Cameron and Caden Warner; Great Grandchildren – Kelli, Kora and Karson Cook and Rebecca, Bethany and Leah Miller; Brothers – Louie Warner & Marge and Haldon Warner & Betty, both of Vandalia, IL; Sisters – Juanita Kirk, Pana, IL and Irene Pope, Vandalia, IL.
