(Woodstock, IL) — A suburban high school student won’t face charges for handing out racist pamphlets at school. Prosecutors in McHenry County say the flyers are racist and hate-filled, but are protected by the First Amendment. A number of parents and students called authorities after the student handed out the flyers at Huntley High School earlier this month. School officials aren’t saying whether the student is in trouble with them.
