(Chicago, IL) — Democratic candidate for governor Chris Kennedy is touting Chicago’s High School for Agricultural Sciences as a model for the state. Kennedy toured the Mt. Greenwood school’s wood shop, greenhouse, food lab and barn today and later said, “Why wouldn’t you want to replicate this in every major city in Illinois?” Kennedy last week announced his plans to seek the Democratic nomination to challenge the expected reelection effort of Governor Rauner.
