The Lady Vandals extended their season for at least one more game after beating Red Hill 59-42 in the quarterfinal game of the T-Town 2A Regional. The Lady Vandals started off the game a bit slow but after a quick timeout, went on a 13-2 run to take a 21-6 lead at the end of the 1st, pushing that lead to 40-16 by halftime. A quick offensive start in the third quarter led to the Vandals outscoring the Salukis 15-4 in the quarter to take a 55-20 lead heading into the 4th on their way to closing out the 59-42 win. Senior Madison Klanke led the Lady Vandals with 17 points, Olivia Marquardt added 12 points and Anna Miller and Lanee McNary finished with 8 points apiece. The Lady Vandals are now 11-17 on the year and will play host T-Town in the first Regional semifinal game tonight at 6:00. The winner will advance to the Regional Championship game on Thursday against the winner of the second semifinal game between Flora and Lawrenceville.
