A long time member of the Vandalia Park District Board has resigned. Chad Feldpouch resigned from the Park District Board at their January meeting, after serving 18 years on the board and helping with many improvements and projects throughout the community. During his time on the board, he was involved in creating the walking trail, adding to and improving the hangars at the airport, upgrading the Airport Terminal, improving facilities at the ball parks, renovating the public swimming pool and installing playground equipment in the parks. To fill Feldpouch’s place on the board will be Michael Radliff, the President of First national Bank in Vandalia, who will now occupy Feldpouch’s former spot on the Park District Board. As for Feldpouch, he has volunteered to stay on as co-manager of the Vandalia Airport.
