Billyanna Poe Dugan, 92, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017, in Centralia, IL.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Kurt Simon, officiating. Burial will follow at Forbis Cemetery, Rural Brownstown, IL. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at the funeral home. Memorials: Ashley Community of Faith Church-Building Fund, Ashley, IL. She was born October 2, 1924, in Linton, IN, the daughter of Carl B. & Leontine (Heath) Poe. Married Clifford E. Dugan, he passed away May 17, 1985, later married Benjamin Forbis September 2, 2008, he passed away on December 24, 2014. She was a Teacher for 22 years in the Vandalia Elementary Schools; Life member of NEA; IRTA; and Eastern Star; Member of First United Methodist Church, Vandalia, IL; Emmanuel Methodist Church, Rural Brownstown, IL and was affiliated with Ashley Community of Faith Church, Ashley, IL.
She is survived by: Sons – Clifford “Kippy” Dugan II & Carolyn, Jasper , IN and Rev. Cevin Dugan & Mary, Ashley, IL; Daughter – Connie Lawson, Leavenworth, KS; 12 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: Parents; Husbands – Clifford E. Dugan and Benjamin “Ben” Forbis.
