A man believed to be involved in the robbery of the Farina branch of Midland States Bank is in Custody in Indiana. Fayette County State’s Attorney Joshua Morrison said he was alerted last month that an individual who might have been involved in the Farina robbery was in custody. Morrison says it was the belief of the investigators that the man in custody in Indiana was involved in the robbery.
The robbery occurred on October 7th when a white male, described as being in his 40s, entered Midland States Bank in Farina and demanded money. The suspect was said to be armed at the time and fled the scene on foot. There is no timetable yet for the individual to be brought back to Fayette County.
