The Vandalia High School boys bowling team fell to Taylorville on Wednesday, 2610 pins to 2582 pins despite winning two of the three games. The Vandals won the first game 848-772 and followed that with a second game win of 967-799. However, Taylorville would come back and win the third game by a score of 1039-767 to win the overall match by just 28 pins. Nic Lutz led the Vandals with a three game total of 605 pins while Brennan Hoffman finished with 583 pins. Hoffman also had the team’s highest individual game score of 234. Also bowling for the Vandals were Dylan Garrett, James Seeley and Evan Springman.
