Lowell “Punk” F. Casey, 90, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017, in Vandalia, IL.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 12, 2017, at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, with Rev. Terry Westerfield officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery, Pana, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 12, 2017, before the service, at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL. Memorials: Fayette Co. Hospital – LTC Activity Fund.
He was born August 22, 1926, in Ramsey, IL, the son of Homer F. & Pearl G. (Cole) Casey. Married Delores J. Maton, August 12, 1950 in Vandalia, IL. He was a retired Coal Miner, Coffeen, IL and School Bus Driver / Custodian for the Ramsey Community Schools. Punk was affiliated with the Ramsey Christian Church, Ramsey, IL and First United Methodist Church in Vandalia, IL.
He is survived by: Son – Jeff Casey & Jan, Ramsey, IL; Daughter – Jill Adams & Jim, Austin, TX; Grandchildren – Sarah Sloan & Rob, Martha Duncan & James, Megan McDowell & Heath, Matthew Casey, and Trista & Hannah Konrad & Aaron; 15 Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Wife, 1 Brother and 3 Sisters.
