Weather forecasters are still working to pinpoint what we will see in our area this weekend, as a potential winter storm—and potentially an ice storm—looks to be on the way for the area. After multiple unseasonably warm days the temperature is going to fall on Thursday night bringing us the chance that night for snow, freezing rain and sleet and then a chance of snow during the day on Friday. Then, Friday night we are looking at a chance of snow, freezing rain and sleet with a low of 29. For Saturday rain and freezing rain are likely in the morning, changing over to all rain, as we’ll see a high on Saturday of 36. Saturday night looks to be more of the same, with rain and freezing rain with a low of 32. And, then rain is likely on Sunday with a high of 46. As of now that’s the forecast, but the situation could change as forecasters get a better look at the track of the storm headed our way.
