Our first truly measurable snowfall of the season looks to be on the way for tonight and tomorrow morning. The National Weather Service in St. Louis has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 9 pm tonight until noon on Thursday for the entire area, as it looks like we’ll see between 2 and 3 inches of snow. The forecast for tonight is for snow, mainly after midnight with a low of 17. Snow accumulation for overnight is expected to be 1 to 2 inches. The snow will continue on Thursday, mainly before noon, with a high of 23. And, we could see new snow accumulation of around an additional inch during the day on Thursday. Whatever snow we get will be sticking around for a while. Cold temperatures are going to stay with us thru this upcoming weekend.
