(Springfield, IL) — Federal prosecutors say they don’t have a problem putting former Congressman Aaron Schock on trial in the summer. The U.S. Attorney’s Office yesterday didn’t object to Schock’s request to move his trial from February to July. The former downstate congressman says he needs to prep as many as 100 witnesses in his fraud case.
