(Peoria, IL) — Attorneys for former Peoria-area congressman Aaron Schock say they need more time to sift through the documents related to the financial corruption charges he’s facing. They filed a motion today to postpone Schock’s trial from February to July, saying the government has yet to identify the one-hundred potential witnesses they claim could testify. Schock was indicted on two dozen counts, including wire fraud and theft of government funds.
